I’m Rula — jeweler, designer, and founder of Xalou.

I am a third-generation jeweler, born into a world of craftsmanship and beauty. Raised in a family deeply rooted in fine jewelry, I learned early to appreciate precision, balance, and the emotional power of adornment. For more than fifteen years, I worked in the jewelry industry, shaping my mastery through heritage, passion, and a global perspective.

My creative journey has always been international. Through extensive travel for both work and inspiration, I immersed myself in the artistry of master jewelers across Italy, France, and Japan. Living in Japan for over a decade deeply influenced my aesthetic, instilling in me a love for purity of form, quiet luxury, and nature-inspired elegance.

After raising my children and honoring the legacy passed down through generations, I returned to my craft with renewed vision and purpose. I founded Xalou as a tribute to tradition, modern beauty, and the cultural influences that have shaped my life.

At Xalou, I focus on the refined poetry of pearls, vibrant colored gemstones, and sculptural gold. Each design blends timeless craftsmanship with a contemporary sensibility—pieces created to become personal treasures, worn with meaning and lived in with grace.
